Adik beradik ?

Picture courtesy of Sam our ad-hoc office photog.

I like to take photos but don't like to be photographed. Never quite got the hang of looking at myself. Its just one of my phobias I suppose. But this photo seems acceptable perhaps because of the company that's in it. Also perhaps because of the caption that came with it - macam adik beradiklah pulakkkk (like sibling ?).

Now tell me, which is the abang (elder) and which is the adik (younger)... he he he.

From the http://social-anxiety-matters.blogspot.com/2006/12/no-photos-please.html :

I did some research and to the best of my knowledge, there isn’t even a phobia name for such a thing. Odd, considering there’s a phobia name for the abnormal fear of pretty much everything. For example, consider “Levophobia.” This is the fear of things to the left side of the body. Or “Euphobia,” the fear of good news. There are even two phobia names for the fear of empty rooms, “Cenophobia” or “Centophobia.” Yet nothing for the fear of being photographed.

Très strange, if you ask me.

Unless someone comes up with an actual name for it, I’d like to officially coin the fear of being photographed, “Photographobia.”

Hi Apandi,
At first, I thought the white-haired guy could be older but ah.. sometimes white hair can fool people. Like Raden said "white hair tu tak semestinya tanda org tu lagi tua kan?"
I want to say that white-haired fellow is older but I think you are older - look wiser la. :)

Cannot fool me bro'..

Do I feel a tinge of jealousy here? Yes laa you look good damn in the suit, la bro'. Me? No coat in my wardrobe.. and nobody, yes nobody, ever said I look good greased coveralls, hard hat, and steel toes.. Guess, I'm doomed for life in the oil patch, bro'. But thats' ok, it pays the bills.

Sometimes teringin jugak nak pakai 3-piece. Maybe can borrow one in the photo studio to take family potrait lah. :)

MS, everyone will look good if properly dressed. Same as chicken properly dressed and baked will make you drool. Kah kah kah, friday morning rambling gone awry...

The answer is so easy, I wonder why people take so much time. One is older and the other is younger, there you are. Tell me I am wrong and I will tell you that Bush loves Osama.

Can you look up for 'fear of politicians' please?

Thanks for dropping by at my blog.

There is such a thing as a 'paparazzi phobia' for fear of being photographed, but used in a different context I think.

Excuse me Apandi, need to say something to Mat Salo...
MS, don't underestimate yourself. For every man who looks good in a suit, there are equal numbers who look ruggedly-good in coveralls, hard hats and steel-toed boots. :)
And some women like men in uniform (not UPS or Fedex la ... I am talking about smart military uniforms).
Have a nice weekend. Watch out for the "vibrating" device in your pants. :)
(not being cheeky here, for more info, please read Mat Salo's blog - One in 250 Million - II; M'bak Naty)

Apandi, my coffee did not kick in this morning... who is older? :)

Tumpang lalu, Capt..

Hmmm JT? Yes, you are being cheeky.. :) but thanks, now I can stand erect (no puns please!), knowing full well that there are tons of women out there who adore the sight of men in uniform.

Thank you thank you thank you but sadly they don't apply to me. The problem is - there are no women on rigs! Have a nice weekend, folks! Now where is my Captain's outfit... :)

“Photographobia.” It works for me, and I HAVE IT.

I think you are both too handsome for me to choose.
